Robust beam splitter with fast quantum state transfer through a topological interface

The Su–Schrieffer–Heeger (SSH) model, commonly used for robust state transfers through topologically protected edge pumping, has been generalized and exploited to engineer diverse functional quantum devices. Here, we propose realize a fast topological beam splitter based on SSH model by accelerating the transfer (QST) process essentially limited adiabatic requirements. scheme involves delicate orchestration of instantaneous energy spectrum exponential modulation nearest neighbor coupling strengths onsite energies, yielding significantly accelerated splitting process. Due properties pumping QST, exhibits strong robustness against parameter disorders losses system. In addition, demonstrates good scalability can be extended two-dimensional crossed-chain structures router with variable numbers output ports. Our work provides practical prospects QST in feasible devices large-scale information processing.

Quantum measurement of amplitude fluctuation is performed by the injection of 2.5-dB amplitude-squeezed light produced by a quantum-well laser into the dark port of a beam splitter as the meter wave. It is shown that the measurements satisfy the criteria of quantum nondemolition measurement. The measured transfer coefficient and the quantum-state preparation ability are 1.07 and 0.8, respectively.
